Buying a house sight unseen is risky business and only the foolhardy would engage in the practice....but when I decided to move from Portland, to Marquette(after a 20 yr hiatus), I was not able to visit first and shop for homes. I needed to be able to move in when I arrived.
I started calling realtors. Most seemed intrigued, but after the first conversation, none called me back...except for Liz.
Liz put me at ease right away and her interest in working with me was obviously genuine. She sent me daily e-mails describing the houses and attaching photos. She paid such close attention to details that I felt as tho I had gone to see them with her. She also gave me valuable info such as taxes, heating, etc. I felt more and more comfortable working with Liz and had total confidence in her ability to find me just the right home. And she did.
When I decided to put in an offer, she worked tirelessly to make sure everything was covered. When I arrived in Mqt. and saw my house for the first time it was even better than I had hoped. And when I put the key in the lock and the door opened, I knew I was home.
I will always be grateful to Liz for making a potentially risky and disastrous situation turn out so well.
